Inauguration Ceremony of Seth Sevana Building

The inauguration ceremony of the Seth Sevana Building stands as a memorable and inspiring milestone in the realization of this noble vision. Initiated with deep compassion and devotion, Seth Sevana is being developed to serve the Maha Sangha who come from different parts of Sri Lanka seeking treatment at leading hospitals in Colombo, including the National Hospital Colombo, Kalubowila Teaching Hospital, Sri Jayewardenepura Hospital, and Maharagama Cancer Hospital.

This special occasion reflects the dedication, generosity, and collective effort of all those who have contributed towards making this worthy project a reality. The ceremony symbolizes not only the opening of a building, but also the strengthening of a compassionate mission — to provide rest, comfort, dignity, and spiritual support for venerable monks during times of medical need.

Seth Sevana is envisioned as more than a place of temporary accommodation. It is a sanctuary of care and healing, designed to nurture both physical well-being and inner peace through a serene and supportive environment. The inauguration ceremony therefore represents an important step forward in establishing a center rooted in Buddhist values, service, and kindness.

We invite all devotees, well-wishers, and supporters to witness and share in this significant moment in the journey of Seth Sevana.
