Construction Progress of Seth Sevana Building – February 2026

The Seth Sevana Building project continues to make steady and encouraging progress, reflecting the collective commitment and generosity behind this noble initiative.

As of the end of February 2026, construction work has successfully reached the second-floor structural level. This marks a significant milestone in the development of the facility, bringing us closer to realizing a dedicated space of care and rest for members of the Maha Sangha who travel to Colombo for medical treatment.

The inauguration ceremony of the Seth Sevana Building stands as a memorable and inspiring milestone in the realization of this noble vision. Initiated with deep compassion and devotion, Seth Sevana is being developed to serve the Maha Sangha who come from different parts of Sri Lanka seeking treatment at leading hospitals in Colombo, including the National Hospital Colombo, Kalubowila Teaching Hospital, Sri Jayewardenepura Hospital, and Maharagama Cancer Hospital.
